I write here from experience. I have lived long enough to know that easy answers are usually untrue. My work has taken me through leading communities, teaching, and walking beside people in moments of joy, loss, and rupture. I have also failed, broken things, started again, and learned to listen more carefully because of it.
This is why I try to stay away from fixed systems and tidy methodologies.
Instead, I choose to dedicate myself to walking a spiritual path. I don’t claim to know everything, but I do know what it means to remain on a path even when it becomes complex, costly, or uncomfortable.
If you read closely, you may sense that these reflections come from someone who has spent years inside texts and traditions, yet no longer hides behind them. I trust depth, honesty, and the generosity of spirit to guide my work.
Thank you for reading; if something here resonates, you’re welcome to stay with the writing, return to it over time, or reach out.
May God bless you and keep you!
Rabbi Sa'ar Khai Shaked.
